The film Netflix unveiled the trailer for their upcoming original film Mother of the Bride on Thursday. And a rom-com starring Brooke Shields and Miranda Cosgrove, the film comes from Mean Girls and She’s All That director Mark Waters.
Benjamin Bratt also stars in Mother of the Bride. Brooke Shields plays the title character, who discovers that her daughter’s fiancé’s father is her college sweetheart. The trailer shows them spending time together before the wedding, only for things to get complicated when they are reminded of their past.

After years on the run, Georgia wants to put down roots in picturesque New England to provide a ‘normal life’ for her family. However, Georgia’s past threatens her and her family’s new lifestyle, and she tries to do anything to protect her family.
The first season ends on a cliffhanger when Ginny learns that Georgia killed her ex-husband, as she leaves with her brother Austin. Meanwhile, Georgia is celebrating her fiancé’s victory as mayor.
